By accessing or using the Website, creating an account, placing an order, booking a service, or otherwise interacting with us through the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and all other applicable policies published on the Website.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the Website.


1. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

  • “Order” means a request placed by you for purchase of Products or booking of Services.
  • “Third-Party Service Provider” means any manufacturer, distributor, seller, logistics partner, installer, technician, brand-authorized service provider, payment gateway, or other external party associated with a transaction.
  • “Applicable Law” means all laws, rules, regulations, notifications, and judicial or governmental directions applicable in India.

2. Eligibility

By using the Website, you represent and confirm that:

  • you are competent to enter into a binding contract under Applicable Law;

4. Account Registration

6. Pricing, Taxes, and GST

All prices displayed on the Website are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated.

6.1 Taxes

6.2 Additional Charges

Delivery fees, installation charges, accessories, consumables, materials, handling charges, visit fees, or similar charges may apply separately unless expressly stated as included.

6.3 Tax Invoice

A valid invoice shall be issued in accordance with applicable tax laws.

6.4 Buyer Information

You are responsible for providing accurate billing and tax details. If you require a GST invoice for business purposes or input tax credit, you must provide the correct legal name, GSTIN, and billing address at the time of purchase. We shall not be responsible for loss of input tax credit or invoice-related issues arising from incorrect details provided by you.

6.5 Pricing Errors

If any Product or Service is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect tax, offer, or discount information due to typographical, technical, system, or human error, we reserve the right to cancel the Order and refund any amount received.


7. Orders, Verification, and Acceptance

Your Order constitutes an offer to purchase a Product or book a Service from us.

An Order shall be deemed accepted only when:

  • the Product is dispatched; or
  • the Service booking is expressly confirmed by us.

We reserve the right to verify customer identity, delivery address, payment instrument ownership, GST details, billing information, or any transaction-related information before processing an Order.

We may refuse, hold, or cancel any Order for reasons including:

  • stock unavailability;
  • serviceability limitations;
  • pricing or listing errors;
  • suspected fraud or misuse;
  • payment authorization failure;
  • incorrect or unverifiable information;
  • regulatory or legal restrictions; or

If payment has already been received for a cancelled Order, we will process the refund in accordance with our applicable refund policy.


8. Payment Terms

We may accept payment through online payment gateways, UPI, debit cards, credit cards, net banking, wallets, bank transfer, cashless collection links, or any other approved payment method.

By making a payment, you represent that:

  • the payment instrument used is lawfully owned or authorized for your use;
  • the payment details provided are accurate;
  • the transaction is genuine and not fraudulent; and
  • you will not initiate unwarranted chargebacks or payment disputes.

Payment processing may be handled by third-party payment service providers, and your use of such services may also be governed by their terms and privacy practices.

In the event of failed, delayed, reversed, disputed, or incomplete payments, we may suspend Order processing, withhold delivery or service, or seek recovery of dues and associated costs to the extent permitted by law.


9. Shipping and Delivery

Delivery timelines provided on the Website are estimates only and may vary based on stock availability, location, courier reachability, weather conditions, public holidays, strikes, regulatory restrictions, or other events beyond our reasonable control.

You are responsible for ensuring that:

  • the shipping address is accurate and complete;
  • the contact details are correct and reachable;
  • the delivery location is accessible; and
  • a person is available to receive the shipment.

Delivery shall be deemed completed when the Product is delivered to the address provided by you and accepted by you or by any person reasonably appearing to receive the shipment on your behalf, including a family member, receptionist, security personnel, or authorized representative.

Risk in the Product shall pass upon such delivery, subject to Applicable Law and timely reporting of visible transit damage, shortage, tampering, or wrong item.

We shall not be responsible for delay, failed delivery, or additional costs caused by:

  • incorrect address;
  • recipient unavailability;
  • refusal to accept delivery without valid reason;
  • restricted entry or inaccessible premises; or
  • repeated failed delivery attempts.

You should inspect the package at the time of delivery and promptly report any visible damage, tampering, shortage, or incorrect Product in accordance with the applicable policy.


10. Installation Terms

For Products requiring installation:

  • installation may be performed by us, the manufacturer, or an authorized partner;
  • installation schedules are subject to availability and service area coverage;
  • the customer must ensure site readiness and safe conditions;
  • required power supply, wiring, plumbing, internet connectivity, mounting surface, wall strength, space, and civil readiness must be available before installation; and
  • accessories, fixtures, stands, pipes, brackets, fasteners, cabling, stabilizers, or other materials not expressly included in the Order may be separately chargeable.

You are responsible for obtaining any required permissions, approvals, landlord consent, society approval, or structural clearance needed for installation.

We reserve the right to refuse, reschedule, pause, or cancel installation if:

  • the site is unsafe;
  • the installation would violate safety norms or manufacturer instructions;
  • the Product is damaged, tampered with, or incompatible with the location;
  • required infrastructure is not available; or
  • site conditions do not permit safe completion.

Repeat visits caused by customer-side delay, non-readiness, or inaccessibility may be chargeable.


11. Repair, Service, and Maintenance

Where repair or service is booked through the Website:

  • diagnosis may require inspection and testing;
  • visit charges, inspection fees, labour charges, spare part charges, transport charges, gas refilling charges, consumables, accessories, or other charges may apply separately unless expressly included;
  • pre-inspection estimates are indicative only; and
  • turnaround times depend on fault diagnosis, spare part availability, brand support, service location, and operational factors.

No repair involving additional charge beyond the initial inspection or agreed amount shall ordinarily be undertaken without customer approval, unless immediate action is reasonably required for safety or to prevent further damage.

You agree to:

  • provide safe access to the premises and the Product;
  • disclose prior repairs, known defects, and relevant usage conditions;
  • ensure availability of electricity and other required utilities; and
  • behave in a lawful and respectful manner toward service personnel.

We are not responsible for delays caused by customer non-cooperation, inaccessible premises, absence of required approvals, non-availability of parts, manufacturer delay, or force majeure circumstances.

Unless otherwise stated, replaced defective parts may be retained, returned, or handled in accordance with manufacturer process, warranty terms, or service policy, depending on the nature of the repair.


12. AMC and After-Sales Support

If annual maintenance contracts or service packages are offered, the scope of coverage shall be limited to the specific plan purchased.

Unless expressly included, AMC or service plans may exclude:

  • misuse or negligence;
  • accidental or impact damage;
  • pest or rodent damage;
  • water or liquid damage;
  • burnt components;
  • voltage fluctuation damage;
  • software-related issues;
  • cosmetic damage;
  • accessories and consumables; and
  • repairs by unauthorized persons.

Replacement of spare parts, consumables, or major assemblies may be chargeable unless specifically included in the applicable plan.

Response times, visit schedules, and service commitments under an AMC or support package are indicative and may vary based on location, workload, holidays, access conditions, and availability of manpower or parts.

The detailed scope, exclusions, duration, and conditions of any AMC or service package shall be read together with the relevant plan document, invoice, or proposal.


13. Warranty

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

  • Products sold through the Website may carry the manufacturer’s warranty;
  • manufacturer warranty terms shall be governed by the warranty card, booklet, invoice terms, or official policy of the manufacturer; and
  • Zuvve may provide coordination or facilitation support for warranty claims but shall not be treated as the manufacturer unless expressly stated.

Warranty claims may require:

  • original proof of purchase or invoice;
  • serial number / IMEI / model identification;
  • intact warranty seals, where applicable; and
  • compliance with manufacturer instructions and usage conditions.

Warranty may be void in cases including:

  • tampering or unauthorized repair;
  • misuse, neglect, or improper installation;
  • liquid damage or physical damage;
  • serial number removal or alteration;
  • voltage issues or electrical abnormalities not covered by warranty; or
  • use inconsistent with instructions.

Any service warranty provided by Zuvve shall be limited to the specific service rendered and shall be subject to the terms stated in the invoice, service report, or service-specific policy.


14. Returns, Replacements, Cancellations, and Refunds

Returns, replacements, cancellations, and refunds shall be governed by the specific policy published on the Website and Applicable Law.

In general:

  • claims must be raised within the timeline specified in the applicable policy;
  • Products must be returned in original condition with original packaging, accessories, manuals, invoice, and tags, where applicable;
  • used, damaged, tampered, altered, activated, installed, incomplete, or non-resalable Products may not qualify for return or replacement;
  • certain Products may be non-returnable for reasons including hygiene, customization, activation, installation, manufacturer restriction, or safety;
  • cancellation of services may be subject to inspection, visit, logistics, or technician allocation charges where such resources have already been committed.

Approved refunds shall ordinarily be processed to the original mode of payment unless otherwise agreed, technically impracticable, or required by Applicable Law.
